Project 600
We’re determined to secure the future of St Michael’s Parish Church, Linlithgow – widely considered one of the most beautiful churches in Scotland - for the 21st century.
Why 600? Work started on the present church building after a fire in 1424 ravaged the previous structure. In 2024, it’s not fire but water that threatens the integrity of the building. Through Project 600, we’re planning major works to eradicate water damage by lead-lining gutters, installing a new drainage system and repairing or replacing water-damaged stonework. We aim to raise £100k from generous donors, which will help us leverage grant funding for the additional £600k+ required.
In an age of climate change, you can help secure the long-term future of this special and much-loved place. Use this QR code to take you to our Aspire Linlithgow: Project 600 Stewardship page
