Cathy Vickers - Morton


Cathy Vickers-Morton came to Linlithgow in June 2017, from Benicia, California, USA, via RAF Lakenheath in England. She is an active member of St Michael’s RC Church, where she is a cantor, reader, and sings in the choir. She was the soloist for the recording of Mascagni’s Easter Hymn, which was coordinated by Alison Hastie during lockdown. A member of the Linlithgow Ladies Choir, Cathy sang in last season’s performance of Holst's The Planets, with the Scottish Sinfonia. She recently participated in Waverly Care’s ‘Come and Sing’ performance of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.

Cathy received her musical education and training in the San Francisco Bay Area, and was a voice student of Mike Matthews.
